Wells Fargo is a leader in the market by lending approximately $9.4 billion in agricultural loans.
The announcement about the new lineup of ZTR mowers, which includes the Twister, Tornado, and Typhoon, at the National Farm Machinery Show was welcomed by several agricultural and rural lifestyle media representatives as well as other show attendees.
One of many media mentions included a quote from Randy Webb, Rhino®'s Product Marketing Manager, discussing the features and benefits of the ZTRs, in particular, the Typhoon. Check out Randy's explanation of the ZTR mowers in this video provided by Farm Industry News.
Rhino® is excited to introduce their new line of ZTR mowers at the 2011 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The Typhoon, Tornado, and Twister models are built specifically to meet the needs of commercial businesses and homeowners alike.
“It’s a natural progression for Rhino to expand to a more commercial and residential market with our reliable history of providing durable and well-known farm equipment including our flex-wing and finishing mowers,” said Greg Pollock, Sales and Marketing Director for Rhino’s Ag Division.
Rhino’s Typhoon is ideal for difficult terrains that commercial mowing can sometimes present, including highway rights of way, parks, and apartment complexes. Typhoon features infinitely variable speeds up to 14 MPH, cutting heights from 1 ½ to 5”, and mowing widths of 61” and 73”. It also offers a quick and easy change from a pivoting to a fixed front axle when terrain varies. Powered by a Kohler® engine, Typhoon has a 15 ½ gallon fuel capacity to keep you mowing longer.
The Tornado series is tailored to challenge tough ramp and curb inclines. To get the job done quickly, it features speeds up to 10 MPH, cutting heights from 1 1/2 to 5”, and mowing widths of 55” and 61”. With an 8 gallon fuel capacity and 26 HP Kawasaki® engine, Tornado can tackle any size project and mowing situation including very tall or wet grass.
Twister is perfect for any homeowner. Its smaller size means it can easily be stored in the family garage, but it’s just as durable as the larger models. Twister features variable speeds up to 8 MPH, 42” and 52” mowing widths, and up to 24 HP Kohler and Kawasaki engines. It offers adjustable controls and a padded, high-back, adjustable seat.
“All ZTR mowers come standard with Fusion® blades, which translates to less blade sharpening for improved productivity. This coupled with Rhino’s unmatched, durable features ensures years of clean cut lawns,” added Randy Webb, Rhino’s Product Marketing Manager.
Rhino is also pleased to announce a program agreement with Sheffield Financial to provide retail financing on the new lineup of ZTR mowers. Sheffield Financial is a well-known and trusted name in lending. The financing offered is competitive and provides choices to best fit your budget, leading with 0% for 24 months, 1.9% for 36 months, or 8.9% for 48 months. Rhino® is proud to introduce the new AGM disc mower series. AGM disc mowers fit a broad range of applications and field sizes. Perfect for rocky conditions and high-speed operations, the oval-shaped cutter discs have contoured edging for greater impact resistance.
“Rhino endeavors to be the leading provider of new farm equipment technology in the market,” said Greg Pollock, Sales and Marketing Director for Rhino’s Ag Division.
Additionally, the rugged gear drive cutter bar includes sealed oil-cooled bearings for improved performance on uneven terrain. The easily adjusted flotation system maintains consistent ground pressure on the cutter bar through a wide range of terrains and contours.
“The AGM mowers cut through heavy crops without wrapping or plugging, and they also handle light, thin grass with ease. The outer swathboard leaves a clean cut to show where you’ve been, which eliminates streaking. The mowers can also be raised quickly for turning or transport without adjusting the three-point height,” added Randy Webb, Rhino’s Product Marketing Manager.
Available with optional skid plates as well as and three-blade and cutting height conversion kits, they can be customized to any field. AGM disc mowers are available with mowing widths of 6.9’, 8’, 9.4’, and 10.5’.

GIBSON CITY, IL—Greg Pollock, Director of Sales and Marketing for Rhino®, announced in a July 9 letter to dealers that Rhino and Wells Fargo have entered into a program agreement to provide retail financing.
Pollock says dealers are already working with Wells Fargo, but the new program will allow dealers to easily quote a competitive monthly payment for established customers and prospects, the letter says.
The program can provide dealers with 0% financing on Rhino flex-wing rotary cutters and below-market rates for other products in the Rhino line. Pollock told dealers in the letter that, "Leading with 0% will differentiate you from all competitors and give your prospects a reason to buy today."

Pollock adds in the letter that, "This is a simple process designed to keep you selling. There is no recourse or risk back to dealers."
According to Pollock, Wells Fargo & Co. extended its role as a leader in the market by lending approximately $9.4 billion in agricultural loans last year. This is a very aggressive program to finish the year strong, and Rhino is asking dealers for their support of the program.

New mower can reach those tough to reach places
Alamo Group® is pleased to announce the introduction of a new family of 3-Point mounted Boom Mowers into the Rhino line of products, with the official introduction taking place at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family includes three models, the 1400, 1600, and 1900, with boom reach ranging from 14' 1" to 19' 8". Each model is available with a 39" or 48" flail type cutting head, depending on model, or a 58" sickle type cutter bar to cover a wide range of conditions and applications. All three models are 3-Point mounted for quick installation.
“With a maximum reach vertically of over 23 feet and horizontally of nearly 20 feet, this new family of boom mowers really makes it easy for users to reach those tough to maintain areas on ranches, farms, and roadsides,” said Randy Webb, Rhino’s Product Marketing Manager.
Each of the models has totally independent hydraulics with dual rotor rotation for upward or downward cutting. Plus, each model includes a hydraulic break-away safety mechanism, and each flail head has an adjustable front guard for thrown object protection. The flail heads also include a “Wire Trap” system to prevent loose wires from getting tangled in the rotor.
Simple in-cab cable controlled remote controls make machine operation simple. Each unit is designed with parallel arm geometry to allow adjusting the reach without constant height adjustment. The 1600 and 1900 models feature Power Slew and Hy-Reach for cutting inside the width of the tractor or for cutting straight up close to the tractor.

Design specifically caters to the utility tractor owner
Alamo Group® is pleased to announce the introduction of the new TS12 Stealth Flex-Wing Cutter at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The all new TS12 Stealth features an exclusive close-coupled design for low tongue weight and shorter turning radius, targeting tractors in the 35-50 PTO horsepower class.“Designed specifically for customers with smaller tractors, this machine’s unique ‘stealth’ appearance, its very short wheel base, and its anti-scalp features make this the ideal machine for customers who need a flex-wing cutter’s versatility but may not have a tractor large enough to pull a 15 foot unit. The TS12 offers a full 12 foot cutting width, cutting the time spent mowing drastically compared to most rigid deck cutters,” said Greg Pollock, Sales and Marketing Director for Rhino’s Ag Division.
The smooth top decks allow easy cleaning, and the smooth deck underside allows outstanding air flow through the high volume cutting chamber. Any necessary adjustments are done with a single level rod. “The 1 1/2 inch diameter cut capacity is ideally suited for mowing pastures, waterways, and other areas around the farm or ranch,” according to Randy Webb, Rhino’s Product Marketing Manager.
The TS12 offers a full 12' cutting width, a unique “wing-bar” blade carrier, direct acting suspension system, equal angle fully pivoting tongue, fully hinged wing connection, and greasable tongue and axle pivots. The drive train includes a 160 hp divider gearbox and 65 hp outboard gearboxes, each with a 5-year limited warranty.

Handles the heavy lifting but can be used by smaller implements
Alamo Group® is pleased to announce the introduction of a new product into the Rhino family. The Brush Grapple attachment for Front End Loaders and Skid Loaders will be shown at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky.
These all new grapples provide the tools farmers, ranchers, and homeowners need to help clean up storm debris or other types of debris around their property. The grapples are available in three widths, 60", 72", and 84" and are compatible with universal skid steer quick attach or Euro-style quick attach devices.
“Many brush grapples are too heavy for large compact or utility size tractor loaders. We focused on providing a light weight, rugged design that is capable of handling the work while being light enough to be used by compact or utility tractors, and we accomplished that goal with this product,” said Randy Webb, Rhino’s Product Marketing Manager.
The wide grapple opening, with serrated leading edge and tine “teeth” provides faster cleanup operations by grabbing the material and holding it in place while it is being transported. The independent upper grapples allow holding unevenly shaped brush or other debris with maximum clamping force. The grapples close down to the lower tines to provide holding power for a wide range of material sizes.
Contact your Rhino dealer today or call 877-408-3297 for more information on the new family of Brush Grapple Attachments from Rhino.

Rhino is proud to introduce their new heavy-duty 400 Series single spindle rotary cutters. Coming on the heels of the successful launch of the 100 and 200 Series, the Rhino 400 Series promises fantastic results as well.
Today’s rotary cutter customer expects more. They want greater durability, nicer styling, a clean cut, and above all, they want more value for their dollar and that is what the 400 Series delivers.
Two models are available including the 472 and 484 providing cutting widths from 72" up to 84". To offer an improved cutter compared to previous models, several upgrades were made. Cut quality has been improved in two areas. First the blade tip speeds have been increased significantly on each model. Secondly, the side skirt depth has been increased to allow larger volumes of material to enter the cutting chamber more efficiently. Durability has been improved upon by increasing the strength in the deck bracing and by making heavier-duty 210 HP gearbox standard equipment.
To deliver greater value and extend the service life of the cutter, the 400 Series deck is domed front to rear and side to side to help shed water and reduce material build up, plus the units are painted with a durable powder coat paint. Other standard features that make the new Rhino 400 Series cutter an intelligent choice for your next rotary cutter include a 4-1/2" diameter maximum cut capacity rating, cross-braced pan blade carriers, and excellent lower gearbox output seal protection and front and rear safety deflectors.

Alamo Group® has announced the introduction of the new C-Series Backhoe attachments from Rhino®. The new C-Series backhoes have a curved boom design that matches the sleek lines of today’s compact and utility tractors, provides greater visibility into the digging area, and requires fewer moves for trenching or close up work. Each of the three backhoe models can be equipped with sub-frame or three point mounts designed for a wide range of tractors. Sub-frames increase the tractor’s strength and add to its versatility by allowing the customer to install or remove the backhoe very quickly without tools. “We began with a tractor focused perspective that allowed us to target specific performance characteristics. For example, we wanted a backhoe attachment that was easy to install, that was easy to mount and dismount to and from the tractor without tools, and that provided a great value for our customers. The new C-Series backhoes meet and exceed those goals.” according to Randy Webb, Rhino Product Manager.
The three models in the C-Series lineup provide outstanding performance for the tractors they match, offering digging depths of 7.5, 8.5, and 9.5 feet. Digging forces ranging from 2,827 to 4,159 pounds, and bucket widths ranging from 9” to 36” are available for each size. Each of the backhoes uses a number of heavy duty castings for greater durability in high wear areas. Each backhoe model provides simple operation, with a single control valve that controls all functions.
