Built for grove and orchard applications, the heavy-duty Rhino V152 flex-wing rotary cutter delivers the muscle and features needed for years of service maintaining grass, weeds, and prunings up to 2" in diameter.
The V152 cuts a 152" swath in one pass and has a specially designed narrow center section to allow closer cutting in the bottom of deep V-ditches than conventional flex-wing cutters. The closer cut allows better water movement in and out of the grove. The 200 HP power divider gearbox and 160 HP wing gearboxes provide unmatched power and performance. Three independent slip clutches offer added protection against sudden shock loads to the the heavy-duty, Cat 6 constant velocity main driveline and Cat 4 wing drivelines. Fast blade tip speeds, updraft blades, and blade overlap of 7" provide a clean cut. The large pneumatic dolly wheels mounted on a spring-cushioned axle help provide flotation in wet and soft conditions. The heavy-duty wing gauge wheels are cushioned for long life. The gauge wheels are adjustable to control the wing section cutting height. The cushion mounting and adjustable turn-buckle are fully shielded to prevent tree limb or fruit damage.
