Built for heavy duty land clearing, the Rhino LUMBERJACK® can assist in maintaining pipeline or electrical line right of ways, or clearing land grown up in brush and trees up to 8" in diameter. (Shown with optional equipment)
The LJ72 is available as a 540 RPM unit with a cutting width of 72" to fit a range of tractor sizes. A 1/4" thick LJ72 deck plus 1/2" thick side skirts mean the mainframes are built for tough conditions. The CAT II-III Q.H. adaptable hitch on the LJ72 features built-in flexibility and outstanding strength. Hydraulic folding doors are standard to reduce the risk of thrown objects. The doors are closed when cutting grass and smaller material and should not be opened if passers-by are within 300'. Opening the doors while backing the cutter makes cutting large diameter material easier. A Cat 5 heavy-duty drive line with an overrunning clutch protects the tractor during machine shutdown. A 140 HP gearbox handles larger HP tractors. The LJ72 blade carrier is a 1-1/4" thick, 46" diameter solid steel plate. The mass of the carrier creates a flywheel effect for easier mowing in tough conditions due to the increased momentum. The result is increased fuel efficiency and reduced operating costs.
