The Rhino Gyro family of super-duty rotary cutters has earned, for over 50 years, the reputation of outstanding performance and longevity in shredding stalks, cutting grass and weeds, and cutting brush up to 4" in diameter.
Premium components including a heavy duty 35R driveline, precision-built heavy-duty gearbox, and a massive Gyro bar blade carrier are the reason Gyro cutters set the standard all others are compared to. The GR60 features a 60" cutting width and is designed for use on 540 RPM tractors for efficient, low cost operation. The 3/16" continuously welded decks and deep 1/4" x 10-3/4" side skirts provide excellent strength and ample clearance to handle large volumes of material easily. The weight of the massive blade carrier assembly creates a flywheel effect, reducing horsepower requirements for efficient operation in extreme conditions. The blades are 1/2" thick and 5" wide and are reversible for extended wear life.
The GR60 features a heavy-duty 140 HP gearbox. The gearbox is mounted to the formed channel, not the deck. The frame is continuously welded to the 3/16" deck for excellent strength. The GR60 is ideal for tractors as small as 30 HP with adequate front weights and is rated for material up to 4" in diameter. Front and rear chain guards are standard on the Gyro single spindle cutters.
