The RHD super-duty series of flail mowers from Rhino are ideal for mowing up to 1" material in park, school, golf course, recreational, estate, and industrial site applications where a manicured finish and safety are important.
The RHD flail mowers are designed and constructed based on Rhino's 50 years of experience. Today, the results are mowers that deliver a clean cut, safe operation, and dependable service. The super heavy-duty series is designed for 540 RPM tractors from 25-70 HP. The vertical action of the free swinging and self-cleaning knives slice through the grass, turning the clippings into a fine mulch which decomposes faster and returns nutrients to the soil more quickly. The specially-designed hood distributes cut material across the full width of the mower and deflects thrown objects downward instead of outward. The 6" diameter rear roller maintains the cutting height and prevents material from being thrown from underneath the mower. The balanced 4-1/2" cutter shaft provides vibration-free operation and the heavy-duty mainframe delivers years of dependable service. All driveshafts and belts are fully shielded for safety.
